Where’s Cool? News - Java Lovin’

Hey ya, kids. Guess what? We’ve been so freakin’ busy working on Where’s Cool? that we missed last month’s newsletter.

This month we have some cool stuff to share with you on WheresCool.com. So check it.

WAKE ME UP, JOE!

Does anyone still even use the term “coffeehouse” anymore? Well, whether you’re in the great Pacific Northwest or on the streets of Chicago, it doesn’t take much to find a coffee shop (i.e. Starbucks) on every corner. But if you are on the hunt for a real coffee experience, heed the word of these Where’s Cool? readers on where to find a good cup of joe… and a perhaps a scone to go with it.

If you support the habit of legal caffeine consumption, whether you partake or not, please read on.

Diamonds Coffee Shoppe, Minneapolis on Where's Cool?

Diamonds Coffee Shoppe, Minneapolis

“At first glance, the cafe seems tiny, when in fact it is a five room labyrinth with a variety of seating options… Wifi is free, and so is intellectual conversation.” Elizabeth S

The Donut Pub, New York

“The donuts are amazing, the coffee is stupendous, and the cookies are to die for.” George

Caffe De Luca, Chicago

“Caffe de Luca, a one-of-a-kind, charismatic café, is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Whether you’re inconspicuously writing a novel or debating existentialism with a best friend, Caffe de Luca is one of Chicago’s better independent coffee shops.”Skimoxie

Fix Coffee, Los Angeles on Where's Cool?

Fix Coffee, Los Angeles
“The coffee is absolutely delicious to the point where you can tell they really care about the coffee they’re slinging.”Someonewonderful

Busboys & Poets, Washington, D.C.

“Aside from the fact that it’s a cute cafe with food, wifi, blah blah blah, there’s an attached bookstore with a badass selection of books on activism, culture, politics, etc. so you can read *and* discuss, all in the same space.Cristina

You did it! Congratulations! World’s best cup of coffee! Great job, everybody!” —Buddy the Elf on the best cup of coffee in the world from “Elf”
